Jason Warner- Business Analyst & Consultant
Hey – I’m Jason Warner, I’ve been a business analyst and consultant for the past 11 years. Nice to meet you! I love to blog and use different platforms to talk about business, lifestyle, technology and some of my personal projects I am currently working on.
It has taken a number of years to build up experience based on education, practice, failures and research to channel the right ideas and implement technology solutions in the correct way (sometimes at least!). I find it useful to consolidate some of my learnings into written pieces, which may help others and gives me a source to reflect back on as well!
I’ve also found having an online presence has opened up some really interesting conversations. So feel free to say hello (all my contacts can be found on this site).
Journey so far
Growing up I studied music, piano was my core instrument and I hold a degree in Music. Before I was allowed to study an art form, my parents ensured I held a backup plan. So before pursuing my passion I trained as an aerospace engineer.
After a modest, exciting and amazing stint working within the entertainment industry I reflected on my goals and desired lifestyle. That led me to pivot into the world of consulting where I was given the opportunity to join an entry role as a process analyst for a NPO. Working previously in a small and isolated team, I felt overwhelmed working for a large, complex organisation, but was immediately hooked. I’m sure others would expect this to be a tale the other way round, but not for this guy.
I grew my knowledge and skills around analysis and consulting and have had the pleasure working with some fantastic teams and the most talented individuals.
Outside of work, you’ll mostly find me on the badminton court or still playing piano when I find a spare bit of time. But my really guilty pleasure is finding treasure at a car boot sale!
Whilst my posting habits are dependant on workload, I do try to stay up to date on here!
